BrainStorm Cognitive Wellness and Speech Therapy of Charlotte, NC is a private practice that specializes in neurogenic cognitive communication disorders. We are holistic in our approach of treating children, teens and adults with cognitive impairment, post concussion syndrome, executive function, and language learning disorders.

Our therapy is based on working with each patients’ individual areas of difficulty, and teaching them strategies or giving them tools to manage the problem area. Along with specific treatment strategies, we also work with healthy eating, sleep patterns, exercise and other ways to support a healthy brain.

About Lori Kury

Lori has 29 years of experience as a speech language pathologist. She has worked in a variety of settings including: hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and private schools providing speech and language therapy. Lori is passionate about improving communication and cognition in children, teenagers and adults with neurologic disorders such as head trauma, post concussion syndrome, language learning disorders and dysphagia.

You did so much to help me get the time I needed to work on those weak muscles- I know it made such a difference in my outcome.
